About Me

a.jpg

As a business and technology leader, I coach and build teams that navigate organizations to find untapped potential to delight customers, spark staff joy, and build tangible business value.

I design with AI, digital/tech, services, lean processes, organizational structure, agile, human factors/UX/UI transformation, and high collaboration across teams. The work we do will help your organization to recognize the capabilities of your resources and understand and how to apply them effectively to initiatives and roadmaps that bring the very best forward into the next horizon.

The work we do will strengthen your organizational culture by aligning strategy with technology capital, executives with front-line workers, middle management with customers, and operating funds with meaningful human outcomes.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope to connect soon!

Personal Perspective

If it were easy, more digital, AI, and organizational transformations would succeed, according to industry experts ranging from McKinsey to KPMG. For example, in 202351% of 400 tech executives shared that neither performance nor profit improved as a result of digital transformation). As recently as 2024, Atomic Work shared that 70-80% of AI projects fail.

At the same time, some technology executives do say that digital transformations improve efficiency, including increasing employee productivity, and ultimately, enhancing customer engagement in the later stages of digital transformation. So, what makes for successful transformation? How can you tip the balance in your favor?

My takeaway: Trust the process. Hire (or find and upskill) people who lead with relationships, deep curiosity, and who can find and communicate 'the real crux' of a problem. Make sure your identify clear business goals and gain an intimate, hands-on knowledge (and baselined metrics) of what process, staff, and customer problems exist and surround the goal. Create energy and engagement in how the organization ideates to solve the problem, implement small trials, and scale up the outcome. It takes time, planning, and persistence to do this right, but with the best intentions and people, it's not only possible, but repeatable.

Technology Leadership

Financial resources may be limited, but potential outcomes are abundant. As a business-focused and mission-driven technology leader, I am passionate about investing in real outcomes for real people that improve and transform lives.

I report into CIOs and work across the executive suite to ensure that organizational investment and resources accomplish and exceed intended goals. Far too often, organizations buy or invest in new 'shiny' technology, and far too often, they invest in the wrong problem, are not prepared with well-defined processes/training/people management, and ultimately do not achieve desired results.

Saved $3M+ of investment in an HR tool focused on motivating staff to reskill. Our research uncovered that staff were already highly motivated to reskill. Investment transitioned into time and operations - a skill and job mapping activity to help show staff which jobs they could qualify for with targeted training

Used AI, Data, Product Design, and Process to save 92% time required to match people to internship opportunities (from 58 minutes per match to 4.5 minutes). At the same time, staff satisfaction in the process increased from 3 out of 5 to 5 out of 5 and match outcomes continued to meet the EEOC (U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) 4/5ths standard.

Designed and launched new talent pipeline product with over 70% conversion. Our team was brought in as a last hope following two failed attempts by a Fortune 100 build a stronger tech recruitment experience. Our research and persona based approach uncovered what new tech talent really desired; a promise of new skills and ethical company. Following three months of agile UX design, our product launched and surpassed expectations.

Increased resume quality from 33% to 72% meeting/exceeding expectations while also reducing staff time spent per resume (from 3 hours to 45 minutes). We had implemented a new AI Resume tool, but it was not achieving desired outcomes. Instead of walking away and finding a new tool, research uncovered that staff were not using the tool effectively. We invested in change management. Communications and training alone accomplished outcomes and astonished all.
